Aussie Bush—your main tasks for the second year are:
Apply a rest-breaking agent.
Apply Cytolin in spring.
Pluck the leaders.
Score if necessary.
Thin shoots if necessary.
Spread shoots and twist shoots if necessary.
Drought the trees from mid-summer onwards.

Carefully select and space the fruiting branches to maximise light interception and light distribution.
Do not prune in winter.
Head the leaders in summer when the fruiting branches have spurred up and fruited.
In summer, leaves and cherries on each fruiting branch are presented to the sun, ensuring a sustained production of strong spurs and fruit of high quality and good taste.
