Big selection of fruit-picking bag sizes

When picking fruit, selecting the correct size picking bag is paramount.

“Our Bighorn Open Mouth fruit picking bag is available in four sizes, allowing users to select the ideal size,” says David Anders, Sales Manager at Woodchuck.
Sizes include ¾ case (30L), 1.0 case (36L), 1.5 case (50L), and 2 case (70L) capacities. David said the smaller capacity bags are ideal for stone fruit, apples and pears while the larger bags are best for avocados and citrus.
Spreading the weight
An extended bib panel at the upper rear of the bag spreads the weight of the fruit evenly across the chest, lessening the pressure on the shoulders. ‘Air mesh’ fabric on the wide crossover straps provides support—even when the bag is full, it maintains its high level of comfort with ease.
Built for longevity
Bighorn bags are constructed from UV-treated cotton fabric and last longer in harsh orchard environments.
Spring steel stiffeners hold open the bag’s mouth, allowing unrestricted fruit loading. The extended inner opening at the bottom of the bag reduces the loss of fruit whilst climbing ladders or moving around—a feature unique to the Bighorn bags.
Hoop Mouth bags
The Bighorn Hoop Mouth fruit picking bag shares many of the same features but adds a front catch with a non-swiveling snap-hook for quick unloading, and PVC reinforcing to the back of the bag. Available in 1 bushel (33L).
