Microjet or drip?

Pressurised micro-irrigation systems have largely replaced traditional flood and sprinkler irrigation in orchards and vineyards.

These systems use microjets or drippers to evenly distribute water to individual trees.

The choice of a microjet or drip system is often a difficult decision as it is rarely clear-cut. The choice of system is often based on what is being used successfully in the district.  A more rational approach is to consider the following relative advantages and disadvantages of microjet and drip systems.
