Bin/chain loaders increase efficiency at harvest

It’s harvest time again and that means many empty bins coming into the orchard and leaving full of fruit.
Growers are looking at how they are handling bins and seeking ways to reduce cost and increase pack out.

Traditionally a tractor is used to move one (or two with a front and rear attachment) bins out of the orchard row.
Bin/chain loaders improve efficiency
A method that is becoming increasingly popular is the orchard chain loader.
These are sized to carry 4, 5 or 6 full bins in a single load.
At 2.1 metres wide, they are small enough to fit down most orchard rows and are fitted with either single or walking tandem axles allowing for gentle transport of fruit out of the field.
Using bin loaders as part of your bin handling operations will increase efficiency, safety and pack out.
Bin/chain loaders are in stock from AIM Sales who are happy to help improve your operations.
