Protection from spring frosts

Written by   AIM Sales

With spring frosts just around the corner endangering your crops, there is still time to arrange frost protection for your orchards.

AIM Sales is the Australian distributor of the New Zealand made portable frost fans.

Being portable, no council approvals or foundations are required, meaning the Tow and Blow fans can be immediately put to use.

With an on-board Kohler engine, the fans protect an area of 3 to 5.5 hectares, whilst only using 5L of diesel per hour. The fans are also fitted standard with water misters for summer cooling.

Due to the narrow base of the fan, there is no need to remove trees.

The fans are extremely quiet and do not emit a helicopter style chopping noise.
